Kayzar Dance Youth Hip Hop Project

Kayzar Dance began an exciting project in June 2007 providing hip hop workshops at an affordable cost for the community of Brentwood and surrounding areas. Since the launch of the project dancers from Kayzar Dance have experienced many successes such as winnin the Essex Streetdance Championships and Brentwood's Got Talent, competing in the IDO World Hip Hop Championships and British Troupe Championhips as wel as performing at Basildon Festival and Christmas Lights Festivals in the area.

The workshops involve streetdance, breakdance, hip hop, and urban dance, and there is something suitable for all ages from 5years to adult! Guest DJs, Rappers and MCs will hold mini-workshops throughout the year too!

Workshops are held at the following days and locations:

Mondays at Shotgate Community Hall,Bruce Grove, Wickford

4.30-5.30pm Under 16s Breakin' & Streetdance

Thursdays at Talents Theatre School, Bruce Grove, Wickford

5-6pm Under 16s Advanced Breakin' & Hip Hop

6-7pm Under 16s Beginners and Improvers Breakin' and Hip Hop

7-8pm Beginners and Improvers Streetdance

8-9pm Advanced Streetdance (KDK members only)

Fridays at San Marie Stage School, Guildprime Business Park, Southend Road, Billericay

4.30-5.30pm Under 16s Breakin' and Streetdance

Saturdays at Hutton Community Centre, Harrison Close, Hutton, Brentwood

9-11.30am Under 16s Breakin' and Hip Hop

11.30-2pm Under 16s Streetdance

Sundays at Hutton Community Centre, Harrison Close, Hutton, Brentwood

3-4pm Adult Streetdance and Breakin'

4-6pm Open Breakin' Session (practice only no teaching)
